Q: Does it hurt? A: Well, yes it does. But not so much you can't tolerate it. We have never had anyone who decided to get a tattoo, have us stop in the middle because it got too painful. Most people agree that it is not that bad, and well worth a short period of mild pain to get a great piece of permanent art on your body. Q: How much does it cost? A: It really depends on the tattoo. Size, black and white or color, flash or original design, degree of complexity of the design, and even location can all affect the cost. Your best bet is to come in and discuss it with us so we can give you an accurate quote for the tattoo you want. Remember, you are getting a permanent work of art. Q: How long does it take to heal? A: While everyone's skin is a little different, most people are healed in 2 to 4 weeks. For more complete information check out our "After Care" section. Q: Which is better, color or black and white? A: While it is a matter of personal choice, one thing to consider is how much sun exposure you plan on the tattoo getting over it's lifetime. If you plan on a lot of sun and tend not to wear sun block, you might be better off with black and white. It should hold up a little better to sun exposure and fade less than color in most cases. Q: Can I get a tattoo of anything I want? A: Yes and no. As with any artistic medium there are some things that can be limiting. Skin can only show so much detail. In most cases we can probably simplify a design if necessary to your satisfaction. Again, come on in and talk to us, we can't really say until we know or see what you want done. Q: I got my girlfriends name tattooed on me and now she isn't my girlfriend anymore. Can you do anything? A: Whether it is a name, or an old tattoo you no longer want, we can probably design a nice cover up tattoo. Drop by and look at our examples of cover up work we have done.
